Privacy Policy

Kameron Tanseli ("we," "us," or "our") operates https://garasu.co (the "Site") for Garasu, an experimentation knowledge graph. This Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information collected through the Site, Garasu accounts, the support form, and optional marketing.

Personal information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account data — the email and password you use to create a Garasu account, and anything you type into the support form.
  • Product data — experiment history, graphs, and related content you import or generate while using Garasu.
  • Marketing preference — whether you opt in to email about Garasu and experimentation research.

Automatic collection

  • Device data — browser type, device type, IP address, and general location (city / country).
  • Online activity — pages viewed on the Site, timestamps, sign-in events, and clicks such as Get started (via Umami Analytics).

We do not collect government IDs, precise geolocation, or payment card PAN/CVC on our servers.

Tracking and other technologies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to run first-party analytics. Details are below.

  • Essential — session and authentication cookies required to run Garasu.
  • Analytics — Umami to understand how the Site is used.

How we use your personal information

  • Create and operate your Garasu account, including email confirmation and sign-in.
  • Provide the knowledge graph, imports, queries, and related features.
  • Answer support requests.
  • Send optional marketing email about Garasu only if you opt in. Unsubscribe any time.
  • Understand how the Site is used, debug outages, and keep records the law requires.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information to train a public model of our own.

How we share personal information

We share personal information with processors who help us run Garasu:

  • Netlify — hosting the Site.
  • Supabase — authentication and account data.
  • Umami — privacy-oriented analytics.
  • Google — the support form.
  • Professional advisors, or a buyer, if we sell or reorganise the business, where the law allows.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect the Site.

Retention

We keep account data while your Garasu account is open. You can delete your account at /delete-your-account or ask us through the support form. Backup copies may persist for a short time.

Your choices

  • Delete your account at /delete-your-account, or through the support form.
  • Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email. Access and service mail will still send.

State privacy rights notice

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and port personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise a right, use the support form. We will verify the request against the email on your Garasu account. You may use an authorised agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Europe (UK / EEA / Switzerland)

The controller is Kameron Tanseli, London, United Kingdom. We process personal data to perform a contract (your Garasu account), for legitimate interests (security, product improvement), with consent (marketing email if you opt in), and where required by law. You may object to legitimate-interest processing, request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and complain to the ICO (or your local authority). Use the support form.

Children

The Site is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change. Material changes will be posted on this page.
